Nella casa che vorrei non mancherebbe mai un angolo caffè.

In the house of my dreams, no doubt,  I would have a coffee corner.

La mattina, appena sveglia, uno dei momenti che assolutamente preferisco è quello del caffè.

In the morning, after I wake up, one of my favourite moments is coffee time.

Che sia accompagnato da una colazione coccolosa e abbondante…

Together with a delicious breakfast…

L’anno scorso lavoravo in una caffetteria inglese…

Last year I used to work in a british coffee shop…

E’ stato stancante e duro, tante ore di lavoro, ma l’aroma dei chicchi di caffè mi rigenerava :)

It was hard and tiring, lots of working hours, but coffee beans’ aroma was always a great support :)

L’altro giorno ho comprato una caffettiera in offerta della Bialetti, non mi piace fare pubblicità ma devo dire che per chi ama il caffè con la crema come me è un vero affare…ha un sistema con cui fare proprio questa cremina e il gusto è ottimo. Ve la consiglio: si chiama Moka Crém (ma se leggono questo post mi pagano?!?)

A couple of days ago I bought a coffee pot by Bialetti, I don’t like sponsoring in my blog but, I have to say, for those who love espresso coffee with “crema” (this is the right noun!) as I do it’s a bargain…it has a tool to make this crema and tastes very good. It’s the Moke Crèm (I wonder…if they read this post they might pay me?!?)

Winter Queen…free pattern!

Purtroppo il pattern dell’ormai noto scaldacollo “riso e trecce”, per sopravvenute complicazioni burocratiche, con mio grande rammarico non potrà essere messo in vendita per l’iniziativa che tutti conoscete. Mi riservo, sotto suggerimento della mia amica Ciami, di metterlo a disposizione free per tutte le Lqa già da oggi.
Il test è stato effettuato dalla mia cara amica Tzugumi - un nome, una garanzia - e fotografato con una modella d’eccezione, Tibisay.

La casa che vorrei - Lantern lights

La luce in una casa è fondamentale. Vogliamo stanze luminose e con finestre molto grandi. E di sera? c’è chi preferisce grandi lampadari con mille lampadine che illuminino la stanza, e chi, come me, preferisce una luce più intima, diffusa nei vari angoli in modo caldo.
Per questo scopo amo l’uso delle lanterne.

Light at home is basic. We want bright rooms with wide windows. And at night? someone chooses big chandelier with thousands of bulbs and someone else, like me, would like a cosier light, spread in each corner in a warm way.
For this purpose I love the use of lanterns.

San Valentino? no, qui si parla di feltro e metallo ;)

Un mio post su San Valentino? E infatti non esiste proprio.
Ok, il pretesto è San Valentino, ma in realtà questo è stato un regalino fatto al Fidanzato a Natale, come si può notare dalla renna ormai quasi fuori stagione.
Il pretesto sarà usato vilmente da me per mostrarvi un assaggio dei miei primi esperimenti col filo metallico. Sì, d’accordo, d’accordo…ci sono un sacco di imperfezioni…ma chi non ne fa all’inizio? insomma, anche le più grandi avranno spezzato i primi fili, per amor del cielo!

Is my post talking about Valentine’s Day? Oh, I don’t think so. Ok, this celebration is an excuse, actually this has been a gift for Boyfriend at Chirstmas, as you can see from the reindeer…out of season. The excuse will be used unworthly to show you a foretaste of one of my first experiments with metal wire. Yes, I know, ok…there are many imperfections…but please tell me..who has never made a mistake at the beginning? even the greatest artists must have broken their first wires, for heaven’s sake!

Ho usato il feltro per creare una cornice calda, a quel punto avevo bisogno di un supporto per tenerla in piedi. Bene, quelli erano i primi giorni in cui avevo iniziato a comprare attrezzi per fare i bijoux…quindi cosa c’è di meglio che cominciare a provare ad usare pinze e filo?

I used felt to create a nice warm frame, then I needed a support to stand it up. Well, those were the days I had started buying bijoux tools so..do you know anything better than start trying and using pliers and wire?

Il cuore è stato uno dei primi tentativi: è un po’ difettoso ma mi piace :)
Inizialmente pensavo di usarlo come ciondolo per una collana o un orecchini ma quando ho fatto questa cornice ho deciso di usarlo come pendente per questo oggetto.

The heart was one of the previous attempt: it is quite faulty but I like it :)
I wanted it as a pendant for some necklace or earing but when I made this frame I found it prettier to use it as a charm for this item.

La cornice può essere usata in due diversi modi: può essere appoggiata su una superficie o anche appesa al muro :)

The frame can be used in two different ways: it can be leant on a surface or it can be hanged up on the wall :)

La casa che vorrei - Books on the stairs

Oggi non mi sento molto bene…scusate se sarò di poche parole ma le immagini penso possano dire molto al mio posto!
Quando abbiamo parlato delle scale, alcune di voi hanno trovato carina l’idea di collegare i libri alle scale. Concordo e per questo voglio mostrarvi le ispirazioni che ho raccolto in giro per il web!

Today I am very sick…sorry if I am not going to write too many words but pics may talk for me very very well!
